Fast Car Launches The Hit List

The Tuning Industry’s Leaders To Be Revealed on May 7th 2008
The UK’s best selling modified car magazine, Fast Car, will reveal the real winners in 2008 with their inaugural Hit List Awards.

When the June issue hits the shelves on the 7th of May it will be accompanied by a super glossy 36-page magazine that celebrates the best products and services, hottest shows, and ultimate stores for 2008.
With both a ‘winner’ and a ‘highly commended’ award up for grabs in each of the 14 categories, the fight for prizes has been immense, but only the best of the best have made it through to the finals after much deliberation by the market-leading magazine.

The Hit List will now be an annual event that highlights exceptional performance. Being a finalist is a sure sign of quality, originality, desirability and value; meaning tuning enthusiasts can now look for the Hit List stamp of approval when looking for their next purchase.

Performance Vauxhall Show and Total Vauxhall Magazine Feature

Classic Car Services will be attending the Performance Vauxhall Show at Santa Pod Raceway on Sunday 8 June 2008. For the first time CCS will be presenting its Vauxhall Astra Sporthatch demo car on its own trade stand. The car is currently undergoing its next stage of transformation and will be unveiled at the show. Come and see us in the traders area for a look at what is possible with CCS.

The CCS demo car is set to be one of the feature cars in Total Vauxhall Magazine in Julys edition. Billed as a “Leather Clad Ice Cool Astra”. The photo shoot was carried out in February and since then, plans have been made for the next stage of the project. These include a vast upgrade to the audio system in the car, which includes door builds and boot builds to house the new speakers and amp. The builds are then being trimmed only as CCS can.

CCS Show CaR:

In April 2006, Classic Car Services purchased a black 1.4 Zetec Ford Fiesta to use as a show vehicle for the company.  The aim of the car is to show the wide range of skills and services Classic Car Services can produce, and to the highest standards.

Firstly, a set of ST seats were bought to upgrade the standard seats which are fairly flat and uninspiring.  Next, the seats were completely stripped with all the cloth removed and the process began.  As you can see the finished seats are now fitted in the car.

Steven Hartley, Managing Director comments “I am very pleased with the project so far, the colour is bright but the aim was to make sure it wouldn’t look like a standard interior.  Now the seats are done, the next project is to cover the headlining and all the top pillars with dark grey alcantara, then we shall move onto the dash.  Pictures will follow as soon as possible."
