| Do you do modern cars as well as classic cars? |
Yes, we work on cars from brand new through to vintage cars. |
| Can I have my cloth interior converted to leather? |
Any car interior can be converted to leather. |
| Can I change the colour of my cloth interior? |
We can manufacture cloth interiors as well as leather, alcantara, vinyl etc. |
| Will you be able to tell it is an after market interior? |
All our interiors are manufactured to strict standards to match main manufacturer quality. The only way you will tell the difference is by colour if you chose a non-standard colour. |
| What finishes are there? |
There is our normal, high grade automotive leather as well as nappa leather which is premium grade. |
| What is the difference between your normal leather and nappa? |
Nappa has a much smoother surface and generally a softer feel. It is used as a the top upgrade by most manufacturers such as BMW. |
| What is alcantara? |
Alcantara is a man made, synthetic material which looks like suede. It is washable and a lot harder wearing than natural suede. |
| Is it more expensive than leather? |
It is slightly more expensive than leather. |
| What is alcantara used for? |
It is generally used in the centre panels of seats as it grips more than leather so you don’t slide in the seat. |
| What is piping? |
Piping is a leather covered beading that is machined into the outer edge of a seat. |
| What is topstitching? |
Topstitching is either single or double rows of stitching that are machined at the side of a seam, where two panels are joined. |
| What do you mean by “contrast”? |
When we say contrast we mean it’s a different colour to the rest of the interior. |
| What is perforated leather? |
Perforated leather has a pattern of holes punched in it. These are purely for asthetic purposes. |
| Do I have to pay extra for different colours? |
No, all are prices include our full colour option package. |
| How long does an interior take to manufacture and fit? |
A fully customised and individual interior takes 5-7 working days to complete. |
| How can I pay? |
We accept cheques with guarantee card, cash and all major debit and credit cards. |
| Do you do seat repairs? |
Yes we can do seat repairs as well as complete covers. We can replace single sections of leather and cloth. |
| I have bought a new seat cover from the manufacturer, can you fit it for me? |
Yes, our technicians will gladly fit the new cover for you. |
| I have a classic car which I am restoring, can you reproduce an interior to match the original? |
We can work from photos or from the original interior to reproduce the same finishes and style used on the original. Many of our customers have brought cars to us with no existing hood, carpet or trim. |
| Are you insured? |
Yes, we are fully insured and all vehicles in our possession are fully covered. |
